Can't get into iTunes store ...

I haven't been able to access iTunes store for months. I've just been informed about this discussions page and i really hope someone can help me.
The problem:-
Everytime i try to access iTunes store it says can not connect to iTunes store. The network is down or unavailable.

I hope this is a common problem and someone can help me.
