problem syncing ipod ...

I have a 120 GB classic ipod. When I try to sync my ipod, I get one or all of the following error messages:
The ipod "--" cannot be synced. An unkown error occured (-48).
or
........(-13010)
or
The specified I/O operation on \Device\Harddisk1\DR39 was not completed before the time-out period expired.
or
Attempting to copy to the disk "--" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to.

and I click ok or continue, and then it continues to sync until complete. When it ejects my ipod, there is no music on it.

Sometimes it will show that all my music is downloaded on my ipod, but when I play it, some songs will not play, or the song that is shown playing is actually a different song than the one you hear.

I have tried the 5R's about a billion times. I am so frustrated. Please help!!
