Seller shipped my item to another buyer
I know I shouldn't be so upset about this, but I just purchased several dolls from a seller. She agreed to combine shipping, and I told her to take her time, that I was not in a rush to get the items (I paid her right away through Paypal.) The seller just informed me that she sent one of my doll's to another buyer and she instead sent me a doll that was for the buyer who got my doll. The other buyer got the much better doll, and it was a doll I have been trying to purchase for years... What if she will not send it back? I do not want the doll the seller sent me. I am trying to tell myself it is only a doll, but so many other things are going on in my life right now it is like the straw breaking the camel's back. What would you all do? Thanks for letting me vent.|||I am sorry this happened. Right now all you can do is wait. hopefully the other buyer will co-operate. The seller should ask you to return the doll to her, at her expense. Then when she has your correct doll back from the other buyer, she can ship it to you at her own expense. You do not have to accept this different doll. Keep your eye on the calendar, if you do not have the correct doll or a full refund within 45 days of paying, you should file a SNAD. Not AS Described..... Do not miss the 45 day deadline to file. I prefer PP but you could use eBay resolution. E Bay Resolution Center link is at the bottom of this page. PayPal is at this ... I contacted seller, she'd shipped my large packed to New Zeland. She sent me postage to send the wrong package back to her (to seller) I did. Then I waited. And waited. The New Zeland folks finally sent her my package, she sent it onto me. Was a big time delay in all of it, (four weeks) I though I deserved a little bonus for all my trouble but man, all I got was a Thank you very much! I did leave all five happy stars anyway. I like this seller and it was an honest mistake... mistakes happen and I want to be able to buy from them in the future! Just be patient, they will make good on this to the best of their ability, they do want happy customers!Friends just call me Crazy. Or you can call me Ms. Crazy.|||and yes, actually the items I received were worth more money, but they were jewerly, which I don't want, I wanted my semi-precious stones!Friends just call me Crazy. Or you can call me Ms. Crazy.|||sorry, one last thought... I believe the New Zeland folks were holding my package hostage till they got the correct package.... that's why they took so long to send it back to the seller...Friends just call me Crazy. Or you can call me Ms. Crazy.|||But if she files a SNAD, and the items were combined together, she'll have to return ALL the dolls. Better hope that she pays you to have both shipped back to her, or to ship the right ones to each other. Though I'm still bitter over a case that happened the latter way as the other buyer ruined my item. ~James~|||I agree, watch the calender and file a SNAD with Paypal if you don't receive what you paid for within that time frame . You should absolutely have the doll you wanted and bid on and not settle for the doll the seller chose for you. We all know that what else can go wrong in my life feeling but you just gotta hang in there. Sounds like the seller is trying to work things out so just be patient and see if she can arrange to get your doll back. There is no way to know how the other buyer will react, hopefully all will be amicable. Good luck.|||but keep in mind that the other buyer may feel about their purchase the way you feel about yours (most do) and they, like the New Zeland mix up, might hold your doll hostage till they get their doll... might be best to send that wrong doll back to the seller right away....? I don't know, this is a trust issue, I trusted my seller to make good although I did worry about sending that package back as what protection did I have since her DC would show she delivered a package to me? But with Dolls, these are so very personal, I can't see this other buyer keeping the wrong one.Friends just call me Crazy. Or you can call me Ms. Crazy.|||crazy8dreams The DCN that gave the seller protection also gives the same protection to a buyer returning an item. eBay/.PP will refund on a claim upon online viewable proof of delivery. Always return with a DCN, if the payment you made was $250 or higher, a Signature Confirmation is required.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||If the other buyer will not cooperate with returning the doll to the seller, then I would file the SNAD with Paypal. Your seller should be offering to pay the cost of you returning the incorrect doll she sent as well as the item price and original S&H. Your seller messed up and you should not be out one dime for the seller's error. The seller, nor Ebay /Paypal can force the other buyer to do the right thing and return the doll.|||markowitz57 Be aware , you only have 45 days from the date of Payment to file the SNAD dispute. Do not let the seller or the other buyer string you along, until you have past the deadline to file.|||I have returned one part of a large combined order that was snad and won a ebay case once it was delivered.I was refunded that item and a % of the combined postageIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||That is interesting to know, misfitfun. I had often wondered what would happen in such a situation.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer
