Has anyone evere heard of this type of transaction or am i being scammed. ive never heard of it on ebay maybe paypal but not ebay Let me explain you the process.. It will be shipped from El Paso and I'll pay the delivery costs. After eBay will receive the amount, I'll receive the OK for the delivery. I'll start the shipping in the same day. You'll have three days for inspection. After you'll agree with the bike, eBay will release the money to me. If the bike is not as I described, the total amount will be refunded by eBay and I will pay the delivery costs for the return. This is the eBay policy regarding this type of transactions.|||Tell me your decision and I will contact eBay regarding the sale. Then they will send you all the information about the purchasing.|||This is a SCAM. There is no vehicle. This is not offered by eBay or PayPal. Do not send any money, you will lose the money. Link Examples: The Scam: The Artificial eBay Agent Scenario 1: eBay seller gets an email telling the seller to send the item to an eBay agent. The agent guarantees full and immediate payment while the buyer approves the item, and further guarantees the transaction is protected by some "trustworthy" agency. Sometimes the agent promises an additional "cash sweetener" if the item is sent very quickly. Scenario 2: eBay buyer gets an email telling the buyer to send the money to an eBay agent. The agent promises to hold the money until the buyer approves the item, and further promises a full refund if something is wrong with the item. A "trustworthy" agency or website is cited. Money is usually requested to be sent via Western Union Instant Payment, Bank Wire or similar method, although the "agent" sometimes allows PayPal payments. The eBayer sends the item or money, and waits for a reply ... and waits ... and waits, and finally realizes nothing will be sent in return. eBayer learns there are no "eBay agents" that perform such functions. Seller tells buyer to send eBay UserID, address, etc, to start the process. A short time later, the buyer receives an invoice from "eBay". The buyer is instructed to send money to the "eBay Agent". The sale supposedly enjoys "eBay protection", or "protection" from some other agency. The buyer is told that the money will be held until the buyer indicates s/he is happy with the car. The buyer sends money to the "eBay agent", and awaits delivery of the car. No car arrives. Warning! eBay is not an escrow agency. They do not handle referrals from Craigslist or other sites. Reading all (5) posts in a thread before responding is a good thing." While that may be true, I did not see anyone post the link from Ebay regarding the Craig's scams. In additional, we have many "lurkers" who read the threads, so the answers are not only for the OP.
