What is your thoughts on this...

Today I received my item from seller. I was very happy with the contents. However also included and put on the very top of packaging so I would not or could not miss it was a religious pamphlet. Would that be against any type of Ebay policy ?? It just seems very presumptuous to me. How do others feel about receiving such items? Thanks for you thoughts.|||It's not against Ebay policy. Just throw it away or recycle it. I'll never understand why people are bothered by it.|||||||||It's rude for someone to question my relationship with God or lack thereof. Like a stranger asking a very personal question or someone on the street randomly giving you advice only your doctor should.....|||No one is questioning your relationship with god-it is just advertising for a specific believe system.Don't your bills come with inserts advertising other items? It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||Don't your bills come with inserts advertising other items? Not the same as an advert for a snuggie. Or whatever comes with your bills. I don't get any, I pay elec. online and have no others except rent. I think it is very rude. My opinion. (Obviously|||Truth is, OP, I wouldn't care for it either. And there was a poster on another forum a short time back that was asking if sending religious leaflets in their shipments was against Ebay policy. You must have found them._______________________ "So many negs! So little time!"||||||It doesn't bother me. Though if the seller asks, I may strongly advise against this practice as it may offend some buyers, which may lead to low ratings. I have no problem openly discussing my religious views, in an appropriate forum.friends Director,|||I've had this same experience on ebay. I threw it out, left no feedback, and never bought from the seller again. Someone pass me an explanation and a Tanq on the rocks please ...|||Don't your bills come with inserts advertising other items? Annoying, however - not the same. Not even close. Sears isn't trying to get me to convert. Just buy more junk. Someone pass me an explanation and a Tanq on the rocks please ...||||||i'd tell them thanks and that i signed them up for several adult sites as well. and i'd leave a 1 or 2 in comunications star as well. there's no place for religion in my buying .|||It's rude deep-down is really why it bothers me. Religions, gods, churches, all that mumbo-jumbo is private IMO. A person can walk up to me on the street and ask if I'm saved. I'll still be po'd at them, but not as much as if an ebay seller or Sav-a-lot cashier tries to initiate an issue like that.~James~
